OHS – Obesity Hypoventilation Syndrome
The patient will be obese (fat). Thick chest wall prevents movement of chest leading to low volume breaths.
Can snore more at nights
Carbon dioxide levels increase in blood at night during sleeping- which if excessive may cause respiratory depression.
It can be treated if identified.
